Russ Shafer has been a licensed electrician for over 30 years and is currently employed as the staff Electrician at McHenry County College.  In addition, Russ serves on the Electrical Commission for the City of Woodstock, and has been an Electrical Inspector for over 20 years.
Russ is a graduate of MCC, with an Associate Degree in Project Management. He holds certificates for Professional Maintenance Manager, (CPMM), as well as an OSHA Electrical & Arc Flash Safety.

Pawel (Paul) Matyja attended University of Illinois in Chicago and graduated with a B. A. in Architectural Studies. He has been a licensed architect in the state of Illinois since 2010 and has obtained his REP (registered energy professional) certification from the city of Chicago. He recently acquired ICC’s Residential Inspector certification. Currently he is a project manager at an architectural company. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside, playing tennis and bicycling.

Leonard A. Farina was born and raised in Chicago. He attended both St. Ignatius College Prep. in 1961 and Loyola University of Chicago in 1967 and earn B.S Psychology. In 1967 he was drafted into the Army and earned the rank of Spec. 5 (E5). Throughout the years Len has earned many certifications such as a Chicago Supervising Maintenance Electrician License, Chicago Supervising Electrician License, BOCA/IAEI 1&2 Family Dwelling Electrical Inspector Certification, and ICC Electrical Plans Examiner Certification. He once owned Farina Electric in 1976 until 1996.  While in 1994 he became a Chief Electrical Inspector for the Village of Lombard until 2015.  Len is happily married to wife since April 15, 1967.

Andrezj Nycz was born in Poland, while living there he graduated from Zespul Electrican school. In Krosno, Poland with a degree in Electrical Technical. He is fluent in English and Polish (mowie po Polsku). Andrezj is a licensed electrician in the City of Woodstock and the City of Chicago, while also being a electrical inspector. He also has vast experience in Poland and the United States for over 20 years as an electrician. Andrezj is happily married for over 15 years and a father of two wonderful children.

Angela Mesi has been a licensed Electrician for over eight years in Woodstock and the City of Chicago. She is the owner of Ang Electric with a staff of 7 Electricians. The company specializes in Class 1, Division 1 hazardous locations as in gas station underground tank monitors, dispensers, submersible pumps, and lighting. Angela has been teaching the CEC class with CLEC Enterprises for over five years. Angela enjoys spending her spare time  on her family farm in Michigan. She currently resides in the city of Algonquin.

Hugo Viramontes is a Mechanical and Electrical Inspector for the Village of Wheeling. He received his Woodstock NEC License from CLEC Enterprises in 2014. Before starting his career as an Electrical Inspector, Hugo spent the past 10 years owning his own business as an Electrical Contractor in the Chicagoland area. He has obtained his OSHA 30 Certification and is currently acquiring his EPA and CEC Certification. In addition to inspecting, Hugo is still an active contributor to the HACIA (Hispanic American Construction Industry Association) Community and its many resources that it provides professionals in the industry. He earned his Chicago License during the spring of 2016. He currently resides in Chicago with his fiancé, Vivian and their dog, Lobo.

Bill Dettmer has been a licensed Electrician for over 30 years. He currently works for the Village of Bartlett as their Electrical Inspector. He has been a full time Electrical Inspector for 20 years. While also being an instructor for 15 years at McHenry County College and eight years for Harper College. Bill is the head instructor and owner of CLEC Enterprises. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Anna, their two children and two dogs Pepper and Pibb. Bill is a long time resident of Crystal Lake.
